John Bonner
got his start as a freelance photojournalist in Toronto
in 1985. His work has been published in many newspapers
and magazines. One of his images published in the Toronto
Sun was awarded "Photo of the Year" in 1986.
He relocated to Banff in 1989 to pursue his career in
the Rockies. Joining SIMON Photography, Banff's pre-eminent
studio in 1991, he developed his unique and creative style
of portrait and wedding photography. Owner of his own
studio since 1994, John has photographed hundreds of weddings
for couples from all over the world. John's work has been
recognized several times by Fuji Film for outstanding
achievement in their annual Wedding challenge.
A recent image, "Christmas Wedding" was chosen
for exhibition by the Professional Photographers of Canada.

With Andrew Dickinson's ten
years of wedding photography experience in the Calgary & Rocky
Mountain region, combined with his great knowledge of the latest digital
technology, Andrew brings a unique perspective to Bonner Photography.
His photography has been recognized by publication in The Calgary
Herald as well as acceptances in the Calgary International Stampede
Salon and the Canadian Association of Photographic Art.
He has also instructed photography for Chinook College
and been a frequent guest on CBC Radio's Wild Rose Forum, on the
subject of digital photography. When asked to define his photographic
style, he describes it as elegant yet informal. He strongly
encourages his clients to be themselves and to have fun with the image
